Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism Founding Director William Banks recently spoke with Bloomberg’s “Politics, Policy, Power and Law” podcast about Special Counsel Robert Mueller speaking with Attorney General Jeff Sessions. This marks the first time in the Russia investigation that one of President Trump’s cabinet officials has spoken with Mueller.

“It does provide fairly strong signals that the investigation is now focusing on potential obstruction of justice, including by President Trump himself,” Banks said.
