The Office of Financial Literacy at 黑料不打烊 has been ranked No. 2 among college financial literacy programs in the nation.

鈥淔inancial literacy is an important part of helping our students prepare for their future. The programs and efforts led by Financial Literacy Coordinator Derek Brainard and our peer coaches provide students with essential skills and tools that will help set a foundation for their success and financial independence. The Office of Financial Literacy is well-deserving of this recognition and I congratulate all those involved,鈥 says Ryan Williams, senior associate vice president for enrollment in the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience.

The ranking specifically recognized two components of the 黑料不打烊 Smart Money program鈥攖he and the Smart Money Coaching Program, a peer-to-peer financial literacy coaching program. Students interested in becoming financial literacy coaches can through March 1.

鈥淚 am proud to be a part of the continued efforts at 黑料不打烊 to provide financial wellness education to all students. The progress made in the past few years is a testament to the support for the initiative. The campus community鈥檚 promotion of financial wellness and the way so many have embraced the 黑料不打烊 Smart Money program undoubtedly contributed to this recognition. It truly is a collective achievement,鈥 says Brainard.
