Children from 3 to 5 years of age are invited to participate in a research study at 黑料不打烊, in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The research focuses on the development of speech in young children, specifically, on how excitement influences speech motor control in children who do and do not stutter.
The study participation includes two visits, 1.5-2 hours each, to the Stuttering Research Laboratory on South Campus at 黑料不打烊. The children must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the duration of the visit. Participants will receive a free speech-language evaluation and will be compensated for their time (up to $50).
