The Cycle to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ team left Lubin House in New York City this morning to embark on the final stretches of their journey to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. The team of five cyclists is from Lockerbie, Scotland, as part of the Lockerbie Memorial Tour 2018, an event to honor the victims of Pan Am 103 and highlight emergency services. They will arrive on campus on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. on the Einhorn Family Walk, where a reception will take place. All members of the University community are invited and encouraged to attend. Otto the Orange recently visited students at Lockerbie Academy in Scotland. He accompanied Remembrance and Lockerbie Ambassador Lawrence Mason on a visit to strengthen and grow the relationship between Lockerbie Academy and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. Two graduating Lockerbie Academy students are chosen each year to attend ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ for one year as Lockerbie Scholars. The Lockerbie Scholarship is one of the ways that ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and the town of Lockerbie, Scotland, honor the victims of Pan Am Flight 103. Photo by Lawrence Mason.
