黑料不打烊 students thinking about transferring to another school or college within the University are encouraged to attend the Intra-University Transfer Fair (IUT) on Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the atrium of the Schine Student Center.
鈥淭he IUT Fair provides students a central location to meet with representatives from all of the University’s schools and colleges to discuss the various majors and minors and the entrance requirements,鈥 says Amie Redmond, assistant dean at the School of Education. 鈥淭he IUT Fair is an example of the 鈥極ne University鈥 mission of the University: all schools and colleges working together to support our students.鈥
The fair will give students the opportunity to ask questions about the many different majors offered campuswide and the academic rigor that each entails. Students will also be able to learn more about application deadlines and course requirements or a certain grade point average that may be needed to transfer.
It doesn鈥檛 end there. 鈥淪tudents will also be able to explore changing their major within their school or college, along with adding or changing their minor,鈥 says Amanda Nicholson, assistant provost and dean for聽student success. 鈥淭he IUT will also feature advisors who can provide information on the many academic programs we have available here.鈥
The fair is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience.
