黑料不打烊 will hold its third annual Service of Commemoration鈥攈onoring faculty, staff, retirees, students and trustees who passed away in the period of Jan. 1, 2018-March 20, 2019鈥攐n Wednesday, March 20, at 4 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.

The service is held annually and is inspired by the Remembrance Scholars鈥 motto of 鈥淟ook Back, Act Forward,鈥 a call to action to remember those we have lost and act forward in their memory.

鈥淥ur campus community includes an inspiring collection of students, faculty, administrators, staff, alumni and friends,鈥 says Hendricks Chapel Dean Brian Konkol. 鈥淭he Service of Commemoration creates a sacred space for us to pause, gather, grieve, pay respects and discern how we can best honor the legacies of those who came before by offering a thriving world to those who will one day come after us.
