In Uncertain Economy, is Legal Cannabis a Safe Investment?

鈥淭here is still quite a bit of volatility in the cannabis industry, but the pandemic has resulted in a sales spike.聽 I would not go so far as to say that it鈥檚 necessarily a stock buying opportunity and it might be prudent to wait and see what the cannabis companies actually do with this new tailwind.聽 My feeling is that it鈥檚 too early to say whether or not it will ultimately result in rising stock prices, especially since the underlying chaos in the industry still exists (federal prohibition, large black market, vape scandals, etc).鈥�

The short-term outlook is good for cannabis because of the pandemic, but what is more important is how the industry adapts to the post COVID reality.鈥�
