Shortly following its fall grand opening, the Barnes Center at The Arch was awarded a three-year accreditation renewal from the (AAAHC) this January. Recognized by state and federal agencies, industry partners and professional peers, the AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates an organization鈥檚 commitment to provide safe, high quality services.
鈥淭his noteworthy accomplishment was the result of multiple rigorous rounds of assessment and the dedication of the health and wellness team,鈥� says Cory Wallack, Barnes Center at The Arch executive director. 鈥淲e thank those who diligently worked to help enhance the services and programs offered at the Barnes Center.鈥�
As the hub for student wellness, the Barnes Center features programs, services and offerings that promote holistic health and well-being, all in one accessible, centralized space on campus. The new layout has increased student privacy, efficiency of visits and provides the opportunity for immediate referrals. Additionally, the new building presented the opportunity to expand the Laboratory and Pharmacy, while the extended service hours have worked to enhance student access to services and programs.
