David Larsen, associate professor of public health in Falk College, appeared as a guest on hosted by the Office of Community Engagement. His appearance was covered in the syracuse.com story “” Larsen, an epidemiologist, is leading a sewage testing project to monitor for COVID 19, which was implemented at SUNY Oneonta earlier this fall when there was an outbreak on campus. Larsen says he believes that their work prevented an even larger outbreak, and he thinks of the testing 鈥渁s a smoke detector in our communities.”
