Research from the (TRAC) was featured in Vox for the article “Biden is allowing asylum seekers caught by Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” program to cross the border.” TRAC focuses on creating access to government information for a variety of topics, including immigration. The new data shows that “more than 71,000 migrants have been subject to MPP over the lifetime of the program as of the end of January,” and the majority of those subject to the law are not being represented by a lawyer or have protection in the US.
