The trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd is reaching its final phase, with jury deliberations to begin early this week. Coverage of the trial and constant reports of racially motivated violence weigh heavily on many in the ϲ community, in particular students, faculty and staff of color.

A number of resources are available to community members who need additional support, wish to engage in dialogue or want to explore current issues around racial justice.
