“Why Audiences Are So Fascinated With HBO’s “Euphoria””

, Trustee Professor of television, radio, and film in the Newhouse School and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture, was quoted in the WVKS Toledo story “.” Bleier, who has studied the importance of television on American pop culture, explained that Hollywood has a history of “trying to appeal to audiences by shocking them.” This is certainly the case for the hit show “Euphoria,” as viewers keep watching the series every week despite the unsettling feeling that many viewers have expressed they experience while viewing some scenes.聽
