黑料不打烊 Extends Test Optional Policy for Students Applying for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Admission

Recognizing the significant impact COVID-19 continues to have on college-bound students and their families, 黑料不打烊 today announced it will extend its test optional policy and will not require SAT or ACT scores for students applying for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 admission.

鈥淢any students and their families are understandably concerned about the availability of and having safe access to testing sites,鈥 says Maurice A. Harris, dean of admissions. 鈥淏y continuing our test optional policy, our hope is to alleviate some stress for our applicants.鈥

Details surrounding the test optional policy remain the same as for those who applied for 2021-22 and 2022-23 admission, including the important fact that students who are unable to submit standardized test results, or who choose not to, will not be disadvantaged.

鈥淪tandardized test scores have always been just one element of our holistic review process,鈥 says Harris. 鈥淎s a result of the test optional policy, we place greater emphasis on other application聽components, including academic performance, the rigor of coursework and extracurricular engagement.鈥

Students who do not submit test scores will also remain eligible for merit scholarships.
