Intermittent sidewalk closures surrounding the College of Professional Studies will be required due to a window replacement project. The work, overseen by Campus Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC), will begin Monday, April 18, and continue through the beginning of May. The sidewalk closures will take place between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday as required.
One closure will be on the south side of Adams Street, just west of the University Avenue intersection, and the other closure will be on the west side of University Avenue, just south of the Adams Street intersection. These closures will not occur every day, but more likely a few days each week.
Signage will be placed at nearby intersections informing pedestrians of the closure and where to cross the road.
CPDC appreciates the patience of pedestrians and those nearby as there will be construction noise generated at times, as well as disruptions to pathways. For everyone’s safety, you are encouraged to remain alert in work areas and follow detours.
Delays in the proposed work may occur as a result of weather and/or unforeseen circumstances. In the event there is a significant delay, CPDC will issue revised information as soon as possible.
